First it was the DROID, then DROID Incredible, and now the DROID X. The DROID line of phones are definitely a hit, and perhaps the only real competitor to the iPhone. StealthGenie is my personal favorite. The reason why I like StealthGenie so much is because they’ve managed to cram a ton of spy features into their DROID spy app, yet keep the price down. StealthGenie is often compared to Mobile Spy, and although they both share very similar features, what separates StealthGenie from Mobile Spy are two features ONLY found on StealthGenie. These features are call recording and remote monitoring. With call recording, StealthGenie will record certain calls you select, and then upload the recordings to your account so you can listen to them at your own discretion. The remote monitoring feature essentially turns a DROID cell phone into a remote listening device. The cost of StealthGenie (only the PLATINUM version supports call recording and monitoring) starts at $109.99 for a 3 month license and goes up to $199.99 for a 1 yr license. This is a little bit more expensive than Mobile Spy, but you do get what you pay for and if you need a way to listen to calls or remotely monitor the phone’s surroundings, StealthGenie is your only choice.

Which one should you buy? It’s a tough call, because both are solid DROID spy apps, but if I felt there was no need for call recording or remote monitoring, then I’d probably go with Mobile Spy because you save $100 bucks (if you compare 1yr license of both products), and you get a free copy of Sniper Spy — which will enable me monitoring both my target’s cell phone and PC. However, if I knew that I wouldn’t be happy unless I was able to listen to calls, then without a doubt I’d go for StealthGenie.
Regardless of your decision, both DROID spy apps work as advertised and they both will enable you monitoring any DROID cell phone.
